The “CHEAPEST” list might save you money, but place you a bit far away or at a lower quality accommodation. The “CLOSEST” list includes hotels which are more expensive. The “MOST SUITABLE FOR LARGER FAMILIES” list includes small furnished apartments and larger suites.
CHEAPEST (within 15 miles):
NOTE: Any hotel near the Pittsburgh International Airport might be very convenient and inexpensive (for good, quality hotels) for travelers arriving by air. Otherwise, we recommend the following hotels for those on a budget:
- Comfort Inn & Suites, 1100 Banksville Rd. (up to 6 people, about $125/night)
- Extended Stay America, Airport (up to 6 people, about $100/night)
CLOSEST (within 1 mile):
- Cambria, Downtown Pittsburgh (about $200-300/night)
- Doubletree, Downtown Pittsburgh (about $300-400/night)
MOST SUITABLE FOR LARGER FAMILIES:
- Comfort Inn & Suites, 1100 Banksville Rd. (up to 6 people, about $125/night)
- Homewood Suites (by Hilton), Downtown Pittsburgh (up to 8 people, 1- & 2-bedroom suites, about $300-400/night)
- Stay Pittsburgh, Downtown Pittsburgh (small apartments up to 8 people, about $150/night)
